NW 7.2 and Tapes from NW 6.1.2

BU server: SUN/solaris 8, NW 6.1.2

Planning of upgrading to NW 7.2 reason is obvious. My questions to all, how stable is this version? Get along with the following NW versions and clients... UNIX (HP & SUN) 6.1.2, Netware 4.22, Windows 6.2? If anyone want to add more info, greatly appreciated.

Since 7.0 the media index has become very stable. This is what you really waited for.

THXS 605, we wanted to make sure after upgraded the BU server, while we're going around to upgrade the clients there won't be problems with restores, etc.

Well, i can't promise you that but i don't. expect them. As usual, programs are backward compatible.
