On a 3600, the NVRAM is corrupt. Displaying ASCII, Hex, etc. characters during boot. Cannot break and hangs during boot. This is via console port. W/O a flash card, is there another way to reconfigure this?
Are you sure the NVRAM is currupt? Sounds like you are using the wrong parameters while consoled in. Check your settings, and make sure they are right. If they are right, then try different baud rates, starting from the lowest and working your way up to the highest. The settings on your router sound like they were changed from the default...
