Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question in, but here goes!: What is the nVIDIA 3D Stereo? Is it worth downloading if you have a 6800 GT?

Haven't heard anything about it but since I also have a 6800 GT I went looking 
.
From what I've read it displays graphics with depth perception. I guess it's like use those 3d (red/green) glasses but more advanced.
It looks like you not only need a nVidia graphics card but also a compatiable monitor or glasses for it aswell.
