Nvidia 3400 cloned dual output on XP

I am setting up an instructors training system using XP. The second output runs through a video splitter. XP is not dectecing the other CRT's through the splitter, but does if I directly attach a monitor from the second DVI output. Is there a registry hack I can setup to force XP to enable the second out put as a clone even without a monitor being attached, similar to that of XF86config?
