Nupoint voicemail message to e-mail only?

Is it possible for Nupoint voicemail box to email messages only and not send message to phone? Nupoint is using SMTP voicemail to email. Any help appreciated

Are you referring to making it forward and delete like EVmail ?
if so then no
we create a limits cos on Nupoint to purge after 7 days to stop these mailboxes being filled
- not perfect because if the email fails the end users often dont notice

i have a DCR for making this work like embedded but nothing has happened yet

If you are referring to Message Waiting Indication (MWI) on phones, just diable MiTai Messaging under Message Waiting (i.e. set it to None)
This will disable message waiting indication on the phones when a message is received.

you may still have to adjust the capacities or the mailbox may get full if you are disabling MW lamp

listening to the attachement on the email doesnt flag the message as being read

I do both of the above
Set limits to delete after 7 days (minimum value 2 hours if you prefer)
Set Message Waiting indicator to None
