hey I want my numlock to default on
I have the registry and the bios settings and it still defaults off
I am using Vista 64

the registry settings at 2 is more geared toward XP then vista I think

I will have to see what you guys post

This is what I see in a x86 Registry.

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard InitialKeyboardIndicators Value = 2147483648

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard InitialKeyboardIndicators Value = 2

numlock key

I did that already ...lol
I have an asus Crosshair MB if that helps

I am thinking of replacing the keyboard because the extra featured do not work with vista

it is an old Microsoft office keyboard

I presume tht you have set BIOS to toggle on the Num Lock on boot?

yep did that too

its not a big deal whether it works or not...I was used to it working in XP and it is just a couple extra steps in vista

lol

just me being lazy and wanting it on
I do suspect the keyboard though as it uses the intellitype software and is old enough that the software does not work in vista and the new updated intellitype software does not support the keyboard

I think it boils down to old junk and vista

hey thanks for the help so far
