Equipment: Definity System 75 Generic 1/3I/3R

We would like to reduce the Number of Rings that come into our building from 2 Rings to 1 Ring. Is there a way to do this via console.

In a simplest way I think your attendant must
pick up a phone 1-more ring quickly.

The problem is
When someone calls the Police Station from outside.

The Attendant rings Twice
And
Then the Voice Mail System rings once.

Making it a total of 3 rings before getting connected.

We were wondering if we could reduce the number of rings on the Definity System.

As i understand attendant presses line appereance only after Voice mail system answered the call to have a recording of conversation. Right?

Where you insert coverage path to Voice mail from console, isn't it a hunt group coverage?
Try to make commands:

list coverage-path
list hunt-group
May be i forgot something about system'75 - i don't work with it too long.
When you will find this coverage path you will be able to reduce the number of ring.
Wich type of Voice mail system and consoles you have got ?

I dont work with the system 75 however on the g3 you would enter the number of fings in the coverage path screen. if I am not mistaken I dont currently have access to a switch to confirm this. José

Yes,
that is correct Jose. Do a cha coverage path xxx. xxx standing for the path number. On the page should be a number of rings section. Just put in the number of rings you want that coverage path to tell the phone how many times to ring.
