number of questions in 70-290 and 70-291

Is it true that Microsoft changed the number of questions to 40 in tests 70-290 and 70-291. Have you heard anything about it?

I wouldn't be suprised. I took 70-290 and 70-291 in September and October, respectively. At that time there were more than 40 questions.

I have a friend who just took 70-291 last week, and I can inquire how many questions were on his exam.

hey there,

I did 290 and 291 last november. I got 55 and 65 questions. not sure which one is which. I realized there was a 40 question version at that time.

if you are with vue, you probably can guess how many questions you will have from their appointment time. you just login to vue website, and you will see how long your test going to last. and the thumb rule is about 2 mins per question for 270,271,272,290,291.

if you got plenty of time and less questions, maybe M$ think some of your questions are harder.

Having checked with a friend who has taken 70-291 twice in the last month, the number of questions he had both times was exacly 40.

Microsoft plans to roll out simulations in 70-290 and 70-291 late next month, so the number of questions could change again.
