I am converting an Access2 databassse to Access '97.
A query is setup with the field-- total: Format(nulltozero([payrate])+nulltozero([tapes]*[payrate])+nulltozero([postage])+nulltozero([attamt])+nulltozero([otheramt]),"$#.00")
I can not open the query in Access'97. The error message reads: Undefined function 'nulltozero' in expression. The module has the code typed correctly. Any simple, non programming ideas. Thanks so much.

Access 2.0 did not have a built-in function for converting null values to zero. Someone wrote a public function to do this. It would be in a module. A97 and higher has a built-in function nz() that converts null to zero. Change the words nultozero to nz anywhere they are found in the Access 2.0 db. This should solve your problem. You could also make sure you include the module that contains the user defined function.
