NTP Time Service

We are wanting to implement NTP Time service on our network. I was able to set up a W2K server to pull the time from an external time source. Works great! Problem is, this server is not a domain controller, and my BDC's and PDC are all NT 4. On top of that, I have about 5 other servers that are W2K.

Is there a way to manually make the other servers pull the time from the W2K server that is currently polling from external source?

When I try to manually set one of my other servers to get the time from this internal server (type in net time /setupsntp:MYSERVER), I then run w32tm -v -once -test, I get errors that the port times out.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Can you ping the main time server from the others?
Also if you have a firewall, you might find it helpful to know that SNTP uses UDP port 123.

I think that you should not use the -once parameter, but rather look at the -period parameter in the following document:
