We are wanting to implement NTP Time service on our network. I was able to set up a W2K server to pull the time from an external time source. Works great! Problem is, this server is not a domain controller, and my BDC's and PDC are all NT 4. On top of that, I have about 5 other servers that are W2K.
Is there a way to manually make the other servers pull the time from the W2K server that is currently polling from external source?
When I try to manually set one of my other servers to get the time from this internal server (type in net time /setupsntp:MYSERVER), I then run w32tm -v -once -test, I get errors that the port times out.
Anyone have any suggestions?
