I hope this is a easy question for y'all.

Ok,,,, We have an x drive to mapped out for all users when they login which contains all department folders. So everyone can see all departments when they click on the X drive.
I am looking for a way that i can set the NTFS permission on user or group that does not have right and can not see to root folder or any folders, but just the folder or file that they have right to it.

I am trying to manipualte the permission on NTFs security, but could not get it works as it should. let'say if i gave them 'traverse/execute file' only then it won't work, so i need to add "list folder/read date" if i do so, they can see the folders eventhough they don' have access to that folders. I wanted to elimate the user monkey around the folders if i can hide away their eyet.

If any one can help me on this i would realy appreciate it. This is challence for me. Or you know or are using any third party software that can recommend me.
Thanks in advance,
