I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I have an OPT81c v25.4 (have not upgraded yet) that i am trying to connect to an Asterisk SIP server across the TIE line that i created. I am using an MSDL card and everything is programmed across the board exaclty as the documentation states. the only thing i have never run across is that it states I need to us a NTBK04AA cable (T1 interface corssover cable). Is this cable different than a regular data crossover cable?

Yes it is different, transmit and recieve on a t1 cable are on different pins than a regular rj45.

Sounds like a telephony swap cable - 1 & 2 is flipped with 4 & 5. then, the tx rx of those are flipped as well.
