Hi all!

I'm backing up my Information Store to a file server...This has been working up until recently...Don't think anything has changed but the error I'm getting in the backup logs states:

Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group is not a valid drive, or you do not have access

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Check who you are logged in as. You need to be an Exchange Admin.

This has been working for about a year and then all of the sudden it stopped with that error message. The backup job does start and gets to about 4 GB and then bombs out with that error. Plenty of space on the destination drive...

Can however backup manually using ntbackup to my laptop...Failing backup is a scheduled backup...Deleted and recreated the scheduled backup and same thing...

User logged in is a domain admin/exchange admin...
