I have managed to be able to get ntbackup running in w2k server. But the problem I am having is that it doesn't want to append backups to my tapes.

Here's the scenario:

We have a small network of 10 users with w2k server as a file server. Backup requirements are minimal as the amount of files that change from day to day is small. So we use a three tape back up system. One tape is dedicated to daily differential backups and the other two are rotated and used for full backups on friday. There is no backups taken on saturday or sunday. I know this is probably not the best setup, but due to limited resources it is adequate.

What I want the system to do is append all the daily differential jobs to the tape dedicated to this purpose (till it is full, then it would be purged) and have the samething happen with the other two tapes.

Every since the first backup job has went on the tape, ntbackup won't append to that tape. This is where I am at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....
