I have an Option 61C Rls 25 that uses the NT5D61AB IODUC cards. Had to power down the switch and after bringing the system back up noticed that the floppies were failing. To make a long story short I found Bulletin number:
PAA 2003-351, which states the problem that I am having and the work around (reseat the card within 30 seconds of being removed from the shelf). Basically, when I test either card it errors CIOD008 (0 OR 1): CMDU (0 OR 1) FDK test fail. The books contain much info about replacing defective units, upgrading, and etc. but not just reseating the card. Below is the print out of stat of the cards.
>ld 137
CIOD000
.stat
IOP 0 ENABLED (STANDBY: S/W STATUS) IODUC
IOP 1 ENABLED (ACTIVE) IODUC
CMDU 0 ENABLED (STANDBY)
CMDU 1 ENABLED (ACTIVE)
RDUN ENABLED
ELNK ENABLED
SDEV 1 OK (KC VALID)

My question is this the correct procedure for reseating these IODUC cards?

LD 135
SCPU (If necessary to switch the core)
LD 137
STAT (STATUS OF IODU/Cs)
DIS CMDU x (disable suspect CMDU)
DIS IOP x (disable suspect IOP)
Set ENB/DIS switch to DIS
Remove NT5D61 IODU card
Reinsert NT5D61 IODU card
Set ENB/DIS switch to ENB
ENL CMDU x
ENL IOP x
STAT

Does this look correct or am I missing something?

looks clean, the enl command will take forever because it does a sync, don't rush it
