Switch settings:
D4 AMI Loopstart

The PBX connects to a speech application that uses a blind transfer to transfer calls.
My dumb question:
I have noticed on a few customer sites that when the calling party hangs up, the PBX is not notifying the app of the hang up. I know when using analog line we have had to use an OPX card to get disconnect supervision.

Is there anything I need to do to get disconnect supervision using this setup a FTR or CLS? I have looked at some other threads on here and see a lot of them reference groundstart over loopstart for the fact that it is preferred. Is this needed to get disconnect supervision?

you can't get ground start on a line side.. it works like a trunk but it is an analog station software interface.. the best i;ve done is add cls xfa ftr phd... i have 7 here on site and that cleared the problem.. if the transfer is between the lineside station and a trunk, the trunk will control disconnect supervision.. if it;s between the line side and an analog station card, check the hook flash timer in that app, that and the disconnect timer in the switch can cause a problem if they are to close... the switch see's the app's hangup as a hookflash, hold sequence at times.. i would do a entc in ld 80 and maybe the switch will show the call on hold
