NT4 server disconnects client machines

hello there,

My server automatically disconnects client machines.

I then unsitall the DHCP Server and use manual IP Addresses for each computer and first it seemed to be working. However, after a few days the problem comes back again.

any ideas?

Try to establish a secure channel ti the server through the Inter-Process Connection share (IPC$) You can do this by typing the following at a command prompt:

net use \\Servername\ipc$ /user:domain\username

If that does not work try typing in "Secure Channel" in the KB search page and see what Microsoft gives you. I believe you have lost Server communication somewhere and Secure channel is where it starts.
