Hi,
I am having the same problem when using NT4Wkstn to connect to a Win2K VPN server. It connected but couldn't register on the network because of the time out. If you have solved the problem somehow, could you please give me some hints? Thanks so much

Try increasing the number of attempts PPTP makes to transmit data.
Local Machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\tcpip\parameters.
Default is 9 - try 18 - dont go above 27.
Another thing to try is specify the dns address on the clients dns ras setup.

I am having a similar problem. NT 4 SP6a Server, same for client. My VPN connection doesn't actually disconnect, but when I try to copy a file ~1 Mb or larger, the copy fails with a "Network error", even tho my connection is still good. Any suggestions?
