Hi,

Im a newbie in here, so i would love if some of u guys could help me?

Im trying to install some wallpaper on my NT Desktop, and once i do this, the wallpaper stays on the dektop for about 1-2mins and then dissapears?

Is there a setting which i need to change? Am i doing somethig wrong?

any info would be most welcome =)

What type of file is it? (.bmp, .jpg etc). If its not already a bitmap, convert it to one and copy it to your WINNT directory.

Now go to Control Panel -> Display -> Background.

Look in the list and your wallpaper should be there.

If you don't know how to convert a picture to a bitmap, the easiest way to do it is open it, select all, copy, paste into paint and save.

If you need any more help let me know.

Rgds

Hi and thanks for the reply,

I should have made this clearer (sorry). I have done all this and copied the .bmp into the relevant NT Directory and when i right click on the screen, i can see the file there, so i make it set as wallpaper, but after around1-2mins, it completely dissapears from the desktop (but the file is still in the dir).

I hope this makes sense =)

Thanks in advance...
