I have a small 2 pc network in my home. One uses a WAP. Both are connected to the web via a cisco 675 with dhcp disabled. I am using win98 to share resources. I have NT Server 4.0 and have taken a look at it but was quite overwelmed. Can someone give me some advice. The manuals assume you are a network guru. I need a web server, ftp server and remote network access.

Thank you

For web and ftp access, you will need to find the NT4 Option Pack and install it. It may be downloadable from Microsoft and there are help files included. For remote access, I assume you mean VPN, rather than dialup, no? In either case, you need to install the RRAS service (Routing and Remote Access) that can be downloaded from Microsoft. To give you blow-by-blow instructions would really be too much of a strain for most people here, so once you've installed the Option pack and are ready to install RRAS, check back with more specific questions as you go.
