NT SERVER ONLY RECOGNISES 8056MB OF A 14GIG HD

Anyone seen this?

I have installed NT SERVER.
I have 2 hard drives in PC.
1 is 2 gig
1 is 14 gig

I install NT on 2 gig hard drive no problem
I then go to disk manager to create ntfs volume on my 14gig hard drive, (at the moment it has no partitions, nothing, just 1 continous unformated space) but NT only recogisnes 8056mb of my drive. Does any understand this limitiation of NT? The motherboard supports large disks no problem.

What service pack are you running?

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

A bit geeky but can explain why only 8056 mb is recognized.
