Hi,

I have a problem with a WIN NT 4 Server Sp5 that does not show in the Network Neighborhood. All machines with all OS's can't see this machine, but funny thing is I have users loging on and working from that machine!?!?!?

Any Ideas on how to make it visible again??
Thanks

Is the server in the same domain as everyone else?

Have you got a WINS configuration and is this server configured to use WINS? "It's true, its damn true!"

Uh, is the COMPUTER BROWSER service started? If not, start it. Joseph L. Poandl

Hi,

The server is in the same domain as all other servers, and it uses WINS. The Computer Browser service is started.
But this is what I found out though, and this is probably causing my problems.
We have 2 NIC's in the server and they are teamed, however there is an Einstein that gave these 2 cards diffrent IP-addresses........ Hmmmmmmm
I wonder why I took this f**ing job??
