I have a NT 4.0 Server with Service Pack 5. Approx every 2 hours the Server will just reboot on its own. What should I check first to rule out the possibility of it being the OS?

Check the event log and see if there is some kind of problem. There is an automatically reboot tick box - untick it.

Then watch it!

Check your hard disk space. Check the available memory of this machine. Check the event viewer. Check for *.dmp files on your hard drives.

But I would check the event viewer first. Joseph L. Poandl
