We have NT 4.0. Our clients are really a mix - 98, NT, 2000 prof. I looking for fax software for everyone. I know there are tons of downloads out there that you can use with dial up and I know windows has their version. What about on a LAN. I'm sure that gets more tricky with the firewall and all.

We have lotus notes too. I remember they had a fax for notes but not anymore.

Has anyone implemted software like this? Any suggestions?

There is always WinFax, which basically runs on a workstation on the LAN that has Fax Modems installed. You need to install client software on each additional workstation you want to have access the "Fax Server." Basically you print to iit like a Windows printer.

You might also investigate a digital copier/fax device. Basically a regular copier but has fax capabilities built in, connects to the network like a network printer.
