First - What is the program? What is its basic function?
Second- If the application is pushed down onto the machines on the network you may not have the problem. Anything that attempts to access the NT Registry will be checked to see if the user logged in has Admin rights.
Checking the ACL attached to the user account does this. I don't know of any applications that would be needed that access the registry every time you execute them. Maybe I'm wrong. But you could simply install the application across the Network and eliminate this problem. The key piece of missing information is - What is this program?
