Stupid question

When a 3904 doesn't have the OEM sticker on the phone, do you know how to locate the serial#? Is it thru the set or thru the terminal under a specific load?

Other than taking the phone apart to look on the circuit board, you might be able to log in via the CLI interface and go into LD 32.

You can do an IDU followed by the TN number. I'm not sure if it lists out the serial number. You might need to try the command FSUM.

It's been years since I last played with these old phone types.
Take a look at all the options in LD 32.

It might also be possible via a trace command in LD 80.

I haven't got any manuals to reference with.

Thanks Scrambler. IT's been awhile for me as well and a bit of a language barrier, so was trying to break it down in the simplest form for the tech.

I've looked at some of my old listings.

The "FSUM" command in LD 32 will only list the current firmware as shown below.

The IDU command might work.

However, I've just found that there is an area in LD 117.

Any active digital or IP sets will shown the model type and I think the serial number such as. 10CC81 for TN 06 11.

I could be wrong, but give it a try.
