nt name resolution user related problems

Hello,
I have a NT4 Wkst SP6a machine in a workgroup. Name resolution works perfect while you have administrator privileges. If you log in with user rights, the name resolution fails. You can still ping with IP addresses, but with hostnames or netbios names fails. Nslookup still works.
What may be wrong?
