I am having a very strange problem with TSE and Access and hope someone can point me in the right direction.
We have a piece of software based around a run time only version of Access which is being access via TS. The database name is t2data.mdb and was working ok until Friday at which point remote users were getting the error:
3043 Disk or Network error.
After looking at the data I ran a repair using Access 2000 which I named t2datafixed.mdb, the client could then access this with no error. I then had them move t2data.mdb and rename t2datafixed.mdb to t2data.mdb, once again any atempt to access this via TS gave the same error!
I then renamed the OLD t2data database to t2data2.mdb, just to see what would happen, and guess what they can access that!
Am I missing something here?
