I have a client with a NT 4.0 Server and a mixture of 95/98 and ME workstations. We have setup MS Outlook 2000 on all of the workstations for Inner-Office Email using the Exchange Server. On all the MS Outlook 2000 machines we had a browse button to browse for the post office folder which is a wgpo0000 folder on the NT 4.0 Server. However, the NEW WinME computer has MS Outlook XP and their is no browse feature, it simply asks for the Exchange Server name. I have plugged in the Server Name, the Shared as Name, the Shared Folder Name, used \\servername\shared folder name, etc...etc.. I keep getting a message the the computer can not communicate with the Exchange Server due to a network communication problem. However the network and workstation can ping everywhere, run all other server based software, etc. MS Outlook XP is the only thing that will not seem to cooperate. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I am extremely frustrated that once again MS has managed to complicate something that used to be simple.
Thanks again. Keith Buchanan
