NT 4.0 clients with 2003 server print services

We have an old NT 4.0 server that acts as our print server. We'd like to move them off the NT 4.0 server, and put them on a Windows 2003 Server. I created a test printer service on the 2003 server and set it up so that when a client prints to that printer, it pulls the paper from a certain tray. This seems to work on the 2000 and XP clients, but the Winnt 4.0 clients have issues. It doesn't pick up the pre-defined settings.

On the server, there is an option of installing the NT 4.0 drivers for the printer service, but then gives a serious warning about instability issues if the driver is loaded.

I guess my question is, is anyone successfully using a Windows 2003 Server to provide print services to a WinNT 4.0 client?

Yes, it will work fine. You just have to add NT 4.0 drivers to you printer queue.
