I created a new zone in DNS "mydomain.co.uk" I added 2 host records "www" and "email" both pointing to 172.20.250.13

if I Ping or run nslookup on it resolves as 172.20.250.13 for both commands

if I Ping email.mydomain.co.uk it resolves as my external IP address 80.xx.xx.xx. and nslookup resolves it as 172.20.250.13

Have I missed something

Kind Regards

ipconfig /fludhdns

ok so the above worked it now resolves ok.

when I am external to my network next and i try to ping email.mydomain.co.uk. Will I get the same problem and have to flushdns again. If so how can I turn DNS caching off.

Kind Regards

Kelley Lewis
