I have recently set up a W2K domian and have a DNS question. If I run nslookup on the DC, it says "Can't find server name for address 192.168.40.210: Non-existent domain." If irun netdiag /fix, there are no errors reported. Can anyone explain why it is not finding the name? Do I need to reload DNS? Any suggestions wil be appreciated.

check see if DNS is running.
check IP config on server and on client PC, make sure both use server's IP as dns server.
