I am moving a switch (Option-11)at my compnay from one part of the state to another, about 50 miles away. The dialing plan in place will pretty much be the same except for the fact I need to point the new trunks out the apporpriate routes. Do i have to change any NXX tables? Are the NXX's supplied from the Phone Company? Anyone give me a tutorial on how this works would be greatly appreciated.

What is in your database will stay there (ld 90) what you will do (if anything) is manipulate the RLI that they (NXX/NPA) reference in LD 86.

You have to enter your own NPA/NXX entries, they are not provided. if you are in a metro area you have to update these a few times a year to reflect new NXX's they come up with. I am usually notified when someone reports they can't call a certain number. Then we go in and verify it is there or not and add it if needed.
