novice to jargon, site dimensions anyone??

hi, i am trying to design a site at the moment however the only difficulty i am having is achieveing a certain effect upon loading of my page.

the best example i can find of this effect is at

, where a smaller, neater window opens upon loading of the page, how do i achieve this effect without knowledge of html?
any help would be invaluable

without knowledge of HTML! you don't.

and it is probably javascript anyway.

it locked up 2 of my browsers (IE and mozilla) and wouldn't open in netscape. very impressive NOT!

it's a !*&%^&$@ popup window
"Open Browser Window" Behavior is builtin DW...look for it in DW help file......but for some custom solution u would need a bit of handcoding...

there is no need to use white images for white backgrounds....use HTML colors whenever possible.
ones your have your layout done then do some research on Pop-up windows....
