novell upgrade to w2k server

I'm in the process of moving my mixed NT (PDC and Member with Exchange 5.5) and Novell 4.11 network to all w2k.

I understand the migration process and synchronization but wanted to ask (as i haven't looked into it yet) how my NT 4.0 server with exchange 5.5 will respond to an upgrade or staying NT with a w2k DC.
