Novell NDS authentication w/ PHP

I am developing an intranet for my office using PHP and MySql. I can get my applications running and have applied a security feature to require loggin in. My users are NOT happy about having to remember ANOTHER user ID and Password.

We are a Novell Shop and I was hoping someone may have experience diving in to NDS to get user name and password for authentication. This would allow user names and passwords to always be syncronized with our file servers.

I have seen it done in ASP, so I am hoping... Even better would be group membership settings to keep only specific users on specific pages.

Does anyone have experience in this field that they can offer assistance?

BiJae. Did you come up with the solution to your problem. I am in the process of developing a web application using mysql and php on Novell. Similar to you, I do not want to have different password and username for mysql and Novell. I have been looking everywhere on the net yet found no useful resource in doing so. I only know how to bin to LDAP and search it. Can you help me out if you have already resolve your problem. Thank You! in advance.
