I am new to Novell certification, what would be the best certification to get for a business owner(comuter tech.) or starter?

Probably the CNA. It deals with the basics of Novell administration...creating accounts, printers, learning about rights, etc. Only 1 test to take.

Then from there you can progress to the CNE. The CNE consists of six exams (of which the CNA exam counts as one).

On the CNE is there a certain amount of time you have to take the 6 tests?

There is not really a time limit, but you have to bear in mind that once the NetWare 6 CNE is in full flow, they will discontinue the NetWare 5 CNE track. This will mean you have to start again with the NetWare 6 CNE exams.

They discontinued the NetWare 4 CNE in preference for the NetWare 5 CNE, so chances are they WILL do the same. -----------------------------------------------------
