I have 2 sites with Novell 5.1 servers. The main site that I work from has the primary dns. Each have numerous users. We are all using netware client version 4.71. The problem is when any one clicks send message, it only shows the server located at their respective site. Is there a way to list all users on the entire network or show both servers when "show all servers" is clicked.

Thanks

Firstly, I would not get users in the habit of sending messages themselves as they can be a pain to control.

Secondly, what protocols are you using on your server, Service Pack etc.... Have you tried the latest Client (v4.83 SP1)? -----------------------------------------------------

Hi Slymac

I have a similar issue here - using Novell 5.1 with Novell Client 4.9, when I click "Show all Servers" it doesnt display all the servers if the Windows 2000 local user is "Restricted User". However when I change the local user to Power User or Administrator, then all the servers are available
I assume its a registry fix to get Restricted Users to see all the servers - but I dont know which one
Novells KB didnt seem to have the answer
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Mike

check the bindery context on server as well
the send message is reliant on this

i view this as a bit of a security go go though
