Notes Client 6 Slowdown

Hi,
I'm new with notes. I have client version R5 running and want to upgrade to version 6. When I install it, the system slows down do to a memory hungry notes client. It uses about 50MB memory, which seems a lot for an email client. We're using W2k clients and some of them work fine with Notes 6, but some don't.

Any ideas?
