notepad doesn't load 1

I've noticed that the icon for Notepad has changed to that blue 'there's something wrong with this program' icon, and doesn't work when I click on it. When I use 'run', 'notepad.exe' it works fine. Any ideas? I use Windows XP Home and Office XP Pro).

edit the properties of that icon and point it to Notepad.exe again
