I am trying to run a query to join several tables and get am getting an error, "Not enough space on temporary disk".

Has anyone seen this before and have a way around it?

It is said that God will give you no more than you can handle. I just wish God didn't have so much faith in me.

Substantially increase the MaxLock per file registry key....

Here is a registry file I have for XP / Access 2003...

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines\Jet 4.0]
"MaxLocksPerFile"=dword:00009470

You will of course have to close and reopen Access after making the change.... If you still get the error message but it takes longer to get it, bump up the value more. If you still get the message after the same amount the time, this is not your issue.
