Hi there,

I have created 2 images, that will eventually be sliced up, and imported into dreamweaver, but at the moment i am not sure what one to go with, both are the same, but one is larger than the other.

I was just wanting some feedback on:

The Designs of the Webpage

The sizes

The colours

Are they readable

etc etc

thanks for any help

(smaller)

(larger)

thanks for any help

Thanks for the reply

I think the larger graphic is much clearer as well, the only concern i have is that most users will have to scroll down to see the rest of the page.

If you were visiting a site, what would you prefer to see the smaller version or the larger version?

Anyone replying to my question, could you please tell me what resolution size you are using.

And finally, what do you think of the design?

thanks

edd

edd1eg, there really is no reason for you to worry about fitting the whole page on one screen. The only thing you can do is have a certian amount of text, images on the screen.

Vertical scroll-bars are perfectly acceptable as a web standard, what you should worry about is horizontal scroll-bars, now those are a big, fat no-no

I have made another graphic, which is in between the large and the small, could you let me know how this looks?

thanks

edd1eg, what is the link to the new image you created?? BTW, not sure if I mentioned before but I checked your images on a 1024*768 resolution on IE6

edd1eg, yup that is best of both worlds. I like it. My concern would be how would the site look with some text?? Not text from PS, but text put in via HTML or so. And, maybe its just my PC (or me), bt the footer looks a little hard to read, maybe its cause its lighter shade then the other links.

Yeah i'm going to be using an I Frame for my text within the site, i have used these in the past, and they look good and work good as well

thanks
