We have an OPT 61C rel 3.0 and have found out that we can't use the * or # keys. When pressed they send you to an announcement. I am new to the 61 world so from what I have researched what I need is OPAO (pkg 104) when I go to ld 22 and prt this pkg it says restricted. Does this mean that I need to have some software turned on or what??

Thanks for the help

after answering that post.. could you tell us what announcement and when in the dial string the *# are used? i use the # to call some cisco stations because of the dial plan.. that is end of dial string..

We have a Fluke Smartpro used for ANI for our techs. We have some phones that are suppressed which do no delliver this and the tech needs to dial *82 for the smartpro to repeat back the DN. I have mainly worked on DMS equip and in one of our tables we designate what the * and # are but can't figure out how to do this with the OPT. As soon as the star is pushed it goes to an announcement that this number can't be dialed. Hope this helps. Thanks

Here is the dialing string *82 XXXX. This will then submit the digits. On another note am not sure if *82 will do anything if this needs to be set up or is a built in feature. Trying to soak up as much info as I can and learn as quickly as possible as we are turning up more and more users on this everyday. Thanks.
