Not able to write to lto4 tapes capacity 1

Most likely there is a problem with the drive and/or media. If the system has exceeded the maximum number of write errors, the tape will be marked full prematurely.
Please compare the values in the Media Properties with the defaults in the settings in the Control Panel's HW Maintenance settings. The default is 6.
Finding the origin of this problem is much harder, though.
