Not able to browse branch office network after dialup

I am trying to connect to my head office using dialup.I am able to connect to the head office server and able to login to the server after getting connected iam not able to see the files on the server or the clients connected to the server.Where iam going wrong not able to understand please help me in this regard to solve this issue.
Is there any extra software to be loaded in the server or the client from where iam connecting.

What operating system are you using when dialing in?

Windows98? WindowsNT? Windows2000?

What protocols are you using on your network? Explain how you have the dialup connection setup. Check the properties, etc...
