Not able to access Network shares

I have windows NT network i have servers 2000 & NT servers for file sharing and application servers,
i have windowsNT,2000,XP clients since a week i am problem accessing the Network shares on windows 2000 and NT from windows 2000 and XP clients, i can access the server with a remote desktop and manage all shares, but not able to access any shares and i cannot see those servers on network neighborhood

Could be a WINS issue. Try stopping and restarting the browser service on you NT PDC. Look for issues in the event logs on the PDC and WINS Servers.
 
yep i would agree...ensure they all point to the same WINS server as well

sounds like a browser election was forced...client machine somwhere prolly won it somehow...so you prolly have one machine out there somewhere that can view the information

are you able to go to start|run and \\server to enumerate all available shares?
