not a table

Please advice. I got a recover dbf file but cannot be open the message shows "not a table", is there any way how can i open this file. Thanks in advance.

HI,

Try to open the .DBF file in MS EXCEL by choosing the DBASE format in the Open Type combo box. If it works Ok. Otherwise in the DOS mode try using the following command.
TYPE filename.dbf |MORE

Excel open dbf from dos FOX (may be win fox 2.6). From fox 3.0 you can open dbf by excel via ODBC for FOXPRO
