Norton wont open

I have installed norton internet security 2006 well i really upgraded from 2005 to 2006 now it wont load up after boot up. I tried to uninstalled and reinstall still nothing. please help.

Goto the Symantec site and find a proceedure to manually uninstall. It's a pain, but it's usually effective.
