Used Norton Utilities to clean up my W2000 but must have deleted something I should not have because now when I try to bring up any of my office 2000 programs. With access I get "cannot find file c:\documents and settings\administrator\my documents\COPYNBC DATABASE2.MDB or one of its components Make sure the path and filename are correct and all required libraries are availible." My database then will open and works. With Word, when I open a word document and start typing word just closes itself.
What do I need to do to repair this??????
Thanks anyone for help

does the account you login with have admin rights as well? The error may happen if the logged on user does not have rights to the administrator folder, but the system account does, so it eventually works. pbxman

If you used Windoctor then go back in to it and select "History and optionly undo changes".Restore the changes you last made. You can always do another scan and fix them one by one and try to find which one caused you the problem. It sometimes does not choose the correct fix automatically.I always fix them one by one and if you are not sure then skip that one.Hope this helps.
