ok, i uninstalled Norton antivirus and now every time i do anything to any file on my computer Norton comes up and starts trying to install and then says it doesn't have the CD...

this is rediculis, you should be able to uninstall something without it trying to get revenge... the only concern with viruses on my computer is Norton it's self.

i would like to know how to put an end to this because it is every inconvenient to have an installer popping up every time I try to do anything other then open a file.

i fixed it... it wasnt easy... symantec makes good viruses man...

im going to incurage as much people as i can to not buy your software because its abso-sheetly garbadge

Ain't my software, man. This forum is not supported by or connected with Veritas in any way, we're just a bunch of people tryin' to keep things running.

There is a norton removal tool that should take care of your problem. Here is the link:
Some applications like Microsoft Outlook will retain the Add-ins. you can go into Tools/Options/Other/Advance Options/Add-in Manager and uncheck any related add-in
